In the travel, their ship was sabotaged by the enemy but was able to repeal them because the enemy had only a few Mobile Suits. In need to destroy the enemy's Mobile Suit that has gone into hiding in a small floating waste dump, Shiro took a small robotic repair mech to search and destroy the injured enemy mech. ( WHAT WAS HE THINKING!!! CRAZY!! ) There he was stranded, in an old and abandoned craft where he met Sakhelin, who turns out to be his later love in life :) This is only a 12 part series with 1 small Movie which documents the middle part of the series. Comments No doubt that this was one of the better Gundam series ever!! The simple reason is because they went back to the old school of thought and showed us that a great war was above us and not some kid pikoting a super powerful unit and destroying everything in sight. It showed us that in times of war, we do not see the true face of our enemy. Are they living? Are they just like us? When Shiro realised that the person he was fighting was another living thing that could breathe and feel pain, he was very unwilling to fight anymore. This could seem like a very simple logic. Of course the person you are fight is another human being, whats wrong with that? Well, not well you know the person that you have just killed has a life, a family. friends and loved ones just like you. A senseless war that Shiro is trying to get away from, and this has made the storyline more realistic and down to earth. Recommendations Portrays the gundam unit as not all super mighty and power but just a tool that man uses for combat. If you are sick and tired of those 1 mech kills all type of Gundam Series, I recommend this to you with 2 thumbs up. |
