![]() Clips from the Gundam X Story Summary 15 years ago when one of the space colonies declared indepence from the Earth Federation, a devastating war broke out between Earth and the inhibatits in the space colonies. The response of the Earth Federation to this was the construction of the Mobile Suit called Gundam. This new mobile suit was so powerful that it almost completely wiped out the competition. But the Revolutionary Forces in sight of this dropped hundreds of space colonies directly onto earth causing a 7 year long nuclear winter. The Earth federation collapsed but because of this, the Revolutionary was also unable to take over earth because of the aftermath of the colony bombardment. After 15 years a new Federation has been formed on Earth to restore order and the Space colonial leaders have also started massing their forces. Our story begins where Garrod Ran stumbles on the Gundam X mobile Suit, where he then helps the Vulture Ship, Freedom in its quest to stop these opposing forces from making the mistake of the past. Comments Strangely, this series only had 39 epsiodes, unlike the 50 over for full Gundam Series. Due to the lack of popularity of it in Japan on its airing it was dumped after 26 episodes.... Even though it was not popular, I still liked the series a lot and found it quite similiar in plot to that of Gundam SEED. Maybe SEED is a refined version of X? Who knows.... However the twist is that, this time they are trying to save the universe from the war that happened 15 years ago. Recommendations First off, I liked the 2 theme songs quite a bit and would frequently play them while I drive around. the story and design is quite the conventional gundam types ( which we all have known to love :) ) I would give it a green light! |
