 Clips from the Series             Story Summary The Unit G, a powerful weapon created by the Creators were left on earth and a school buoy was lucky... or unlucky enough to find it, thus transforming him into a being known as the Guyver. Later on, the biy, Sho and his best friend were plagued by continuious attacks from an organisation called Chronos who wants to retrieve the Unit G from Sho to serve their evil intentions. 2 other units also in existence and one was opened by a member of Chronos and the other by Agito a person pinned on conquering the world. As the battle continues, Sho is constantly placed to the test of how to use his given powers and to protect his friends. Comments Once again, a great storyline, plot and animation in general but stopped prematurely. Shows us an alternative explanation of how man was created and for what purposes followed by the strieve of the created to find its creators. Although there was nothing much revealed in this production, the manga with more athn 20 Volumes brings us to greater heights of the storyline and revealing to us more of this alternative world of man. At the time of this writing, 4 other motion pictures were produced. The ill-fated 1990s reproduction that was pure crap and with very baddly done animation, 1 Anime Movie called "Guyver Out of Control" which shows us an alternative guyver Universe and 2 Movies based on another Guyver unit that was filmed in the USA. Lucky for us, WOWOW has revealed in 2005 that they are producing or re-producing the anime with modern dat technology and this time because its funded by a large organisation that is proficient in producing great anime series is taking over, we can be sure that at least it would succeed in some extend if not all. Recommendations Not recommended for Children or young Teenagers bceause of Mature content, Strong language and also some forms of nudity in this 12 part series. The Movie Anime, Guyver out of Control also contained some sexual content that could be inappropriate for the younger audience. But NO, this is not a Hentai production! Just that the amount of blood and violence may not be good for our younger audience. The content wise if fantastic! Read the manga and watch this 12 part series added action and also the Live-Action Movies for a teaser of how the Guyver works and how damn cool it is!! ( The live-action movie also contains blood and violence and wuite a lot of it...... ) |
