![]() Clips from the Patlabor Story Summary Set in the future, advanced robotics have created heavy robots that could be used for various functions. ( eg. Construction, military, law-enforcement and so on. ) These robots however still needed the operation of man before they would carry out their various task. And sometimes these humans that operate them turn to crome and it up to and Advanced Ploce unit known as Patlabor to stop these outbreak of crime. The story starts with us in focus of the second special vehicles dividion. Comments OK even if it says its set in the future, if you are watching it today, its actually dated in the past :P, but we still don't have huge mecha robots patrolling our streets. I like the concept though, but strangely, while i was watching 2 of the 3 movies, I actually fell asleep after the mid of the second one. Felt that the story had too little action to keep me focused. Recommendations If you like the ides of Gundams or just plain man piloting huge robots, then you may want to give this series a try. But keep in mind that this was produced in the late 1980s. |
